A lone deer

The forest was dense and beautiful.

A lone deer wandered toward our cabin

And drank from the trough at our windowsill.

The deer laughed, and all the forest with her.

They knew what all of mankind should know:

That all of creation belongs to God,

And our joy comes from Him.
