More in love, forever

43 years ago my husband and I had a secret, but wonderful love affair. Early on I gave him a special Valentine poem and a tiny pewter poodle with a heart around its neck as a symbol of our love. The following morning, during a heavy snow storm, he had an accident and was taken to the local hospital. To keep our secret, he threw the poem in the hospital garbage and kept the little poodle. Today, we treasure the tiny trinket and cherish the love we have shared. We are now 80 and 89 years young and more in love, forever.
